It’s a big day at Sports Media Guy headquarters, and I have two big pieces of news to pass along.

First, I’m honored to say that a study that I was a co-author on has been accepted for publication in the Media, War & Conflict. The study is “Mediated Public Diplomacy: US and Taliban Relations with Pakistani Media,” and my co-authors are Rauf Arif and Guy Golan. They did the lion’s share of work on this study, and I’m honored to be a part of this work.

Second, I spent an awesome hour last night chatting with my college friend Todd Lewandowski for his Radio Blast podcast. We talked a lot about sports journalism and assorted other media geekery, and it was a blast (Wow. Sorry. Pun not intended).
